I was running some errand on the beach setting up account on the beach for the invisible sinkers that im repping now check them out at www.invisiblesinker.com  and I stopped in at Marlins Marina and Steve papen and Lance Brooks were hanging under the cover dodging the rain..  As soon as their was a break in the weather they were ready to go out in Lance's new custom 27 Carolina Skiff.. Lance asked  you wanna go jumped on and check the wells stuffed with pass crabs and the other with pinfish and grunts.  SO we ran out the pass and on the way out we seen dolphin in 35 feet of water on a perfect weed line ended up getting 6 total.  Then we anchored up Permit fishing and I ended up getting a big hog fish the second I've caught ever this one was close to 6 to 7 lbs.. No luck on permit we fished for gags and got a bunch of shorts... It was funny we were coming in the pass and Papen said I don't know if I'm going to invite you again you made us look stupid... I thought you were a kayak fisherman..  Fun afternoon on the water..
