We got out 2 weeks in a row on the Daddy Rabbit grouper fishing both times real casual fishing..  Captain Dave and my self would catch bait prior and have the boat ready to roll have lunch at the yacht club and head out about 50-60 miles  fish till sundown and come back...  Had one guy dropping down a sardine and on the way down a big king fish ate it on the way down luckily the circle hook got it in the corner of his mouth..  I had to help the guy hang on to the rod because he was getting ripped all around..  I seen a little shark on it about 50 feet both but I think the triangular bites might have been other kings..
I would have love to see this fish whole it still weighed 36 lbs.. We did good on red snapper mangos and jacks on both trips the gag bite was weird both times...  Always a pleasure getting out on such an amazing boat..
The owner went back home for a little bit Dave and are going to wax the hull and do some other odds and ends after it goes on the yard.. They want to do a trip in late October possibly Destin Louisiana and Texas..  We shall see things change quickly..
