Tony and I went out in the kayaks to get on some Snook action in the yaks.. First cast on the top water I hooked a Monster snook on top water before the sun was out and he shook the hook on me..  We worked our way to an area I knew was out of the wind Tony picked a nice upper slot red on top water.. We started walking down the beach that I knew would be choice before we got there we got over 15 Snook and many other hook ups and jumps on Doa Cal jigs Greenie and stark naked were the colors.  Phenomenal sight casting we had shots at plenty of fish.. We hooked a  12 inch lady fish and drifted him and he didn't last long and it was a 33 1/2 inch fat female amazing how big of a bait they can eat!
We ended up going back out for old times sake what we call (caveman extravaganza) fishing all day and going to a different location...  Tony got a nice 25 1/2 trout on top water I should have got a picture and we had some serious blow ups on top water  by some good reds and snook !
