I was helping Cody mount a trolling motor on his boat and the tide was ripping out with the sun going down so we really wanted to get out! So we were cast netting bait and we came up to a marker and there was a huge Cobia sitting right behind the marker.  So Cody rigged up a big spinner and threw a pinfish by the Marker and it snagged the marker he ripped it off the marker and then the cobia nailed it.  We had him hooked up for a few seconds then the hook pulled and came back with a SEA SQUIRT on it.  So we ran and checked the next marker and came back and he was still there.  The Nailed it swam around the marker I drove around the marker like Nascar and it was free he was onto the shallow flat.  I grabbed the Tarpon Gaff and Cody Gaffed him behind the head and he got beat up for a minute and ripped him in the boat!
