I met up over at Cody's Place and we ran out and caught bait in the Pathfinder. Cody his buddy Alonzo and I  caught big grunts and pinners and squid.   Then Cody threw the net we loaded up on shad, whitebait, threadfins, Lady fish and more pin fish and grunts.  We Came back to the house and the tide was still low to get the 31 Contender off the lift.  We ran out got some breakfast and we were able to get it off the lift we loaded the wells and took off we picked up a couple of his buddies at their houses and gased up and headed off.  The wings on the Contender are awesome keeping you dry and keeping the wind off of you while you are running.  The crew was Cody, His little brother Carson, his Buddy Alonzo, John, Doug and myself.  We fished around the 40-60 ft depth got 16 nice keepers.  Alonzo got sick after his first keeper so he was out of commission for a good part of the day.  I  used the invisible sinker  (www.invisiblesinker.com) as a knocker rig set up and it worked awesome today I caught a ton of good fish and a lot of keeper. We caught a TON  between 18-21 1/2  I also caught me first Carbo. It is a very pretty grouper didn't get a picture because they were chewing  There was a few break off's on the boat which would shut down the bigger fish on certain stops.  But a fun day and that is a very sweet boat. 
I learned a lot today from Cody!   Alonzo snagged a picture while he was laying down of the knocker rig on the invisible sinker with a nice keeper grouper!
