Today got out with my dad and brother again.  Made 2 throws with the cast net and blacked out the well with nice thread fins and whitebait's.  Ran about 8 miles found some hard bottom and got into a ton of short grouper.  I finally got a chance to use the new invisible sinkers that I got out at the boat show. Their site is http://www.invisiblesinker.com/. I met the guys that came out with this product  down in Key west while I was down there. My buddy Alex knew them from back home because they keep their boat at the same Marina area.   They worked killer today I could get down to the bottom in the 30 feet of water easy with the 1 ounce weight.  Anyways check them out!   After about 10 short grouper I get slamed I thought I had a big grouper all it was really doing was shaking his head then it ran seriously almost pulled me off the back of the boat because I had my drag locked  with 65 Lb Braid and was standing on the back of the boat  he ran straight at the boat and hit the braid on the bottom of the boat and it exploded.  Pops seen it and say it was a least a 40 Lb Cobia or so.  It happens Oh well! But we got a ton of short blacks  and reds.  Jeremy got a keeper flounder.  Beautiful day though!   Good to get out with the Fam!
