Today we were determined to get a king fish out of the kayak. I called up Kevin out at the Bait Bucket after I got back with my buddy John.  So  Kevin Mckenna,  Mary mckenna , Jay and myself went of the beach putting in the yaks at first light.  Their was already a boat trolling around and caught 2 Kings as the sun was coming up.  While we were sabiking up our treadfins.  We anchored up and drifted our nose hooked threadfins with the stinger on them out and Kevin and I got one a piece.  A boat anchored up next to use ended up getting 2 Kings as well.  Mary was trolling  her bait behind the kayak and was able to hook up and after a good fight the King swam around a crab trap and got the stinger stuck in and he was able to wiggle free.  Kevin and Mary left and headed home.  Jay ended up getting a nice one about 25 LBs trolling around a threadfin and he headed in with his fish.  I put a big greenie on the bottom and was able to muscle up a big oversize Red fish.  I soon headed in as well.  Mission Accomplished it is pretty fun out of the kayak.  Hopefully I can try and get out there and get a big one before they are gone.
