Today I went out with one of my buddies John Richey on his Hydra sports Tower Boat out on the beach.  Threw the net twice by the the fenders and blacked out both of his wells. So we cruised down the beach and anchored up and and chummed.   We ended up catching a ton of mackeral. You couldn't keep the bait away from them.  Got the big reds on the bottom and even on the king fish rigs and some times they would be in pairs and you could cast to his buddy.  I hooked a 80 Lb Tarpon on a pin fish on the bottom.  It was short lived we got a few jumps of her and she quickly went around the motor of the boat next to us and that was it.  Still enjoyable for a few minutes and a couple good jumps.  We both landed a 12 Lb King.  We both also caught a under size cobia a piece as well.  While I was driving the boat I could see the big school of reds from the tower so  we stopped and caught a few of those big reds.  We headed in and we satisfied on the non stop action.
