Redfish Mission accomplished!
I headed out by myself I quickly found a school of reds I was getting them on the spook in 6 inches of water. I was able to get 4 in the 22-25 inch fish I then was able to sight cast a few on the gold split tail. With the tide rushing in and the reds waking on the flat and seeing me they became a little weary. I decided to check another location and there was a guide poling along the flat. With no wind I decided to make a long paddle. I got to where I wanted to be and began to stand up and push my kayak along the shallow flat. I soon seen a way over slot red sleeping on the flat and he casually swam away. I soon came up on a school of fish and some were tailing. I had the rod in between my legs while I was pushing along the flat I was able to make a cast out behind then and got a nice one I decided to stand up and fight him in the 140 and all of his buddies scattered around. He was 26 1/2 and had a chunk missing out of his top fin. I was trying to get a nice healthy 27 inch fish for my good buddy Greg Aragon to do a fish rubbing of. I release him to fight another day. I jumped out of the yak and got another couple reds that were sitting in the pot holes. I gave the school a few minutes to settle down I again poled up on them and they were tailing more aggressively. I casted the gold split tail and gave it a couple twitches and had another fun fight standing up and there were more fish with him this time. I landed him and he was a perfect 27 so I was satisfied so I Paddled back to the truck.

I seen a cool looking Sea horse drifting with the tide so I got a picture of it.
